It’s truly heartwarming to hear about Dufu’s Beach CleanUp “Protect Our Beach, Preserve Our Ocean” Initiative Day and the collective effort of 81 volunteers from Dufu Industries Sdn Bhd and Dufusion Sdn Bhd coming together to make a positive impact on the community and the environment at Pantai Esen, Batu Maung, Penang on 24th September 2023.
Despite the early morning drizzle, all participants remained committed and cooperated well, leading to its great success.
It’s wonderful to see that the management, including Dato’ Lee, CH Teoh, David, and RH Nah, were actively involved and supportive of Dufu’s Beach CleanUp Day. Their presence and support undoubtedly added significant value to the event.
We were also honored to have the presence of YB Dato’ Dr. Mohamad bin Abdul Hamid to inaugurate the event. Furthermore, our gratitude goes to the committee members, WC Khor, Hazrul, Nasrul, Izat, Hafiza, Siti, and Hafiz for their tireless efforts in ensuring the event ran smoothly.
Cleaning up the beach and the community not only helps in keeping the surroundings clean and beautiful but also showcases the strong sense of community spirit and environmental consciousness among the participants.
Collecting 150 KG of waste is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the volunteers. It’s a clear example of how small actions can add up to significant positive change.
Kudos to all the volunteers for their commitment to this noble cause, and may this spirit of community and environmental stewardship continue to grow and inspire others to take similar actions.
